KTGY Community – Kenilworth Park Cleanup

Story

KTGY Community spent Saturday teaming up with Anacostia Riverkeeper in their efforts to protect and restore the Anacostia River by volunteering in a socially distanced trash pickup at Kenilworth Park. A total of 1,835 pounds of trash was removed, collected, and sorted out to divert contamination of the river and wildlife. We even had a few young helpers come and join at their first Community outreach event! A very big thank you to all those who participated in the clean-up effort!
