Story

KTGY Irvine has assembled a group of cyclists to participate in the Solvang Century ride that takes place in March of 2017. This is a 100-mile route through rolling hills of California’s central coast with an elevation gain of 5000 feet. Riders Sibel Konak, Brad Golba and Milos Ivancik began their training with a cold but beautiful 33 mile ride through back bay in Newport Beach/Irvine.

The Solvang Century ride is put together by SCOR (Specialized Coronary Outpatient Rehabilitation) with all proceeds benefitting three camps for children with unusually severe congenital heart disease who, for the first time in their life, get to experience summer camp activities in a medically supervised environment with their peers. SCOR has been sponsoring these camps for over 31 years.
