KTGY Tysons – Donates 50 fully stocked backpacks for DC’s Community of Hope

Story

On Wednesday, August 9^th, KTGY Tysons participated in a Back to School fundraiser with the goal to donate 50 fully stocked backpacks with all the supplies DC kids would need to kick off their school year!

The Tyson’s Studio teamed up with DC’s Community of Hope and ULI to volunteer and pass out the backpacks at their 5th Annual Back to School/Beat the Streets event. Free haircuts, health care screenings and 921 backpacks made the event for DC residents and children a huge success.

Looking forward to participating again next year!
