Camden at Playa Vista – Brookfield Residential Receives Prestigious Gold Nugget Awards of Merit

COSTA MESA, Calif., June 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Brookfield Residential Properties’ greater Los Angeles and San Diego divisions have been recognized by the 52nd annual Gold Nugget Awards with three Gold Nugget Awards of Merit from PCBC, the nation’s largest regional conference and trade show for the real estate development field. The awards honor architectural design and planning excellence and draw entries from throughout the United States and the world.

Two Awards of Merit went to Brookfield Residential’s La Vita at Orchard Hills in Irvine, for Best Single Family Detached Home (3,500 – 3,999 square feet) and for Residential Housing Community of the Year (detached neighborhood). An additional Award of Merit went to Brookfield Residential’s Camden at Playa Vista for Best Multifamily Housing Community (18-30 development units to the acre).

This year, PCBC judges considered 629 entries in 50 categories. Chosen from the elite pool of Merit Award winners, Grand Awards will be announced on June 25 at PCBC 2015 in San Diego, the nation’s largest regional conference and trade show for the real estate development field.
