Construction is expected to begin late summer on this 265-unit market-rate apartment project. The unit mix is 36 percent one bedroom, 57 percent two bedrooms and 7 percent three bedrooms. Tom Gleason with Forest City says the project has received all necessary land use approvals and first units should be available early summer 2018. KTGY is the architect. A contractor has not yet been selected. The project is located in the southwest quadrant of the Northfield Boulevard/Central Park Boulevard intersection. A two-acre parcel immediately adjacent to the intersection is being reserved for a future affordable rental housing site.
