Curvy Nova on Wilshire development completed in K-Town

228 apartments + retail at Wilshire and Wilton
At the western gateway to Koreatown, construction is now complete for Nova on Wilshire – yet another mixed-use development from Jamison Services, Inc.
Located at the southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Wilton Place, the seven-story podium-type building features 228 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a 354-car garage.
“With a dynamic curved building form, the building consciously plays with the Art Deco legacy of Wilshire Boulevard,” said Keith McCloskey, as associate principal with KTGY Architecture + Planning, which designed Nova “It creates a bold presence at the westerly gateway to Koreatown where its curved facade responds to the geometry of Wilshire and Wilton Place. The design incorporates multiple indoor and outdoor amenities, affording opportunities for residents to live well in a classic hospitality-like setting.”

The apartments, which range from 491 to 1,318 square feet in size, are priced starting at $2,210 per month, according to a leasing website for the property.
The project, which broke ground in 2017, incorporates numerous resident amenities, including a rooftop club room, a landscaped courtyard, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. Additionally, co-working space occupies a portion of the building’s ground floor facing Wilton Place.
Nova is one of a slew of recent developments from Jamison Services in the Koreatown neighborhood, including an adaptive reuse project the opposite side of Wilshire Boulevard which is transforming a 1950s office building into housing.
At the western end of Koreatown, Jamison is partnering with Hankey Capital on an even larger mixed-use project – the 25-story Kurve on Wilshire apartment tower.
