Manny Gonzalez Inducted Into AIA College of Fellows

Manuel G. “Manny” Gonzalez, FAIA (BA. Arch ’77) was recently inducted into the prestigious College of Fellows by the 2016 Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects as a tribute to his lifetime body of work transforming architectural practice in the 55+ housing industry. He also was recognized with the Wm. S. Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence awarded by Hanley Wood’s Builder magazine. Hanley Wood publishes ARCHITECT magazine, the magazine of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Gonzalez was also recently awarded the National Association of Home Builders’ inaugural 55+ Associate of the Year Award.
Mr. Gonzalez is a principal at KTGY and has more than 25 years of practice in residential development where he has won numerous awards. Mr. Gonzalez has written and contributed to scores of articles on residential design and sits on the Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) Chair for 55+ Housing online magazine and is an EAB member for 50+ Builder magazine. Mr. Gonzalez has presented his observations and case studies to audiences at local, regional and national conferences as well as the 1st Int’l Housing Conference of the Americas in Mexico City.
