What It’s About:

With a quarter of all new home buyers in the 55+ category, it is important to understand what products and features get them excited enough to move out of their current homes and into new ones. In this session, 55+ housing industry experts will discuss the changes in the sector, focusing on demographics, planning, amenities, floor plans, features and products. Builders will address the economics of then and now, products being bought or leased, sales and confidence levels and the need for affordable housing. An architect will speak about innovative site plans, home designs, amenities and floor plans; and an interior designer will round out the session by talking about features and products that make buyers and renters say wow.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Recognize how the 55+ sector has changed from five years ago.
  • Learn the newest innovative site plans, amenities and home designs available to buyers and renters.
  • Gain insight into the hottest features and products desired by buyers and renters.
  • Acquire a better understanding of what types of communities, amenities and features will be more appealing to the 55+ market.
