Purl, the newest project at Sudberry Properties’ 230-acre Civita urban village in Mission Valley, has been completed and is now leasing units to tenants. The development, located at 7901 Civita Blvd, is comprised of 434 luxury apartments within two midrise podium-style buildings, extensive amenities, and 18k sf of street-level retail space.

Apartments at Purl range from a 530 sf junior one bedroom to a 1.3k sf three-bedroom unit. Interior amenities include in-home washers and dryers; gourmet kitchens with farmhouse-style sinks, quartz countertops, and stainless-steel appliances; hardwood-style flooring in the main areas and carpeting in all bedrooms; and LED lighting. Monthly lease rates range from approximately $2,155 to $3,620.

The upscale amenities at Purl are reminiscent of those found in exclusive boutique hotels, including two beautifully landscaped saltwater pools with Jacuzzis; a day-spa area with adjoining sauna; a Sky Terrace roof deck with outdoor media center and barbecues; game room with golf simulator; club room with demonstration kitchen; karaoke stage; and Makers Studio for do-it-yourself projects.

Purl is located across the street from the generously appointed, award-winning 14.3-acre Civita Park and is adjacent to the future Creekside Park, a 1.5-acre park to be anchored by a curvilinear elevated walkway that connects various amenities, including a picnic area, children’s play area and dog run.

Purl is the third apartment community in Civita developed by Sudberry Properties. All three – Circa 37, West Park and Purl – are situated in a campus setting and give residents the convenient use of all amenities. Purl residents will have access to the four saltwater pools, two fitness centers, fit lounge with arcade area, screening room, open billiard lounge, dog-washing area, bocce ball court and entertaining spaces that are located at Circa 37 and West Park.

The development team for Purl includes KTGY Architecture + Planning, Rick Engineering, Lifescapes International for landscape design, and Design Tec Interior Design. ReyLenn Construction of Solana Beach is the general contractor. Pacific Western Bank provided construction financing.
