Progress continues on Stockbridge Capital and Wilson Meany’s Bay Meadows development in San Mateo, with Shea Homes acquiring 1.6 acres last week for 31 new townhomes in the mixed-use development.

The acquisition is Shea Homes’ fourth at Bay Meadows, which already has nearly 700 residents. The new townhome neighborhood will be designed by KTGY.

In addition to homes under construction, there’s a lot going on at Bay Meadows, as we heard from Wilson Meany in October. Active projects at Bay Meadows include Station 4 (SurveyMonkey’s new headquarters); the 174k SF Station 3 office building (where construction began in November); Town Square and Delaware Street retail; and The Russell and Rendezvous, two mixed-use apartment buildings.
