Timothy Schwarz is a multidisciplinary designer focused in architecture, interior design and brand development. Creative but calculated, Tim puts his considerable experience into engaging design that captivates the senses and forges emotional connections. With an eye to both taste and consumer behavior, he specializes in a collaborative design process that leads his clients to discover a full and feasible vision for buildings, brands and experiences.
After completing his architecture studies, Tim worked for well-known hospitality and residential design firms, earning AIA and NCARB qualifications. He later joined Chicago based interior design firm Simeone Deary Design Group, which was acquired by KTGY in 2021. Tim has grown as a leader within the studio for more than a decade. Before KTGY, Tim worked in all types and scales of architecture and interior development, earning a reputation for excellent and creative design even under constraints. Known for efficient turnaround of lofty concepts, Tim’s resume has earned him an enviable roster of award-winning work and return clients.
As a principal at KTGY, Tim is a key leader and decision maker for the firm. At any time, he can be found at the head of large-scale developments that encompass the design process from initial concept to final implementation. Tim’s leadership is defined by his deep experience, expertise in multiple disciplines and willingness to share what he knows with good humor in a spirit of mentorship.
