Two brands sharing a high rise and a perspective on Austin’s Sixth Street district come together in Aloft & Element Austin Downtown. Drawing from the city’s eclectic nature, KTGY’s interior designers discovered the common ground between the two brands and their host city, weaving their distinct approaches into an experience that delights locals and vacationers alike. The design localizes a high-energy, contemporary aesthetic for Austin and carries it from one experience to the next.
The ground floor hosts the lobby, bar, coffee shop and Caroline restaurant in an open floor plan that flows from the busy street through each space and outdoors again. Rattan pendants, greenery and natural wood juxtapose patterned tile, concrete columns and industrial doors that open the space to the world. An eclectic matching of curated moments takes guests from an intimate dinner to a raucous game night in one evening: from cozy lounge seating to the rooftop bar and lawn. Aloft’s rooms feature bold contemporary features and patterns, while Element’s residential style offers clean design and honest materiality in a touch of home. Design marries these two brands together into irresistible occasions of Austin hospitality.
