Rohit Anand Helping Fairfax County’s Board of Supervisors
The Metro’s Silver Line in Fairfax County, Virginia sits 40 feet above the ground in some places and the discussion has begun about how to make the concrete trestles less, well, unsightly. The chairwoman of the County’s Board of Supervisors, Sharon Bulova, reached out to KTGY’s Principal Rohit Anand to assist the County and guide them as they navigate the trestle enhancement project. On June 4th, Rohit led a charrette with Fairfax County officials and about 25 architects, designers and marketing experts to brainstorm ideas for the space beneath the tracks that could be implemented as the area becomes more pedestrian friendly. The charrette received coverage in The Washington Post.
