KTGY Community – Home for Veterans

Story

KTGY partnered with HomeAid and Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, to redesign a home in Alexandria, Virginia for veterans. All those involved in this project volunteered their time, resources and expertise including Staged Interiors who furnished the home. In Fall of 2020, KTGY collected monetary donations which contributed to the purchase of kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom essentials for the home including bedsheets, comforters, pillows, towels, small kitchen appliances, cookware, utensils, bathmats, and much more! This four-bedroom, three-bath home underwent some major renovations, including adding a fourth ramp-accessible bedroom replacing the car port. A special thanks to all those who donated and volunteered their time to make this home a great place to live!
