Story

For LA studio’s 2017 Intern Design Day, Sharis took on the task of designing a building for Lux Airways, a start-up luxury air carrier! Sharis studied and surveyed the area to compose a design grounded within a runway based dynamic aesthetic set on the LAX property. Sharis’s project is a private terminal serving planes of 60 users for a high-end luxury based traveling experience. The building contains a base area of about 32,000 square feet with a variety of programmatic elements, amenity spaces, and connects to the jetway. Well done Sharis on an interesting design concept and great presentation!
