    KTGY is proud to honor Terry Nashed, KTGY’s Contract Administrator, for her service to the international humanitarian organization, Roads of Success.  The organization’s “Tech Over Trauma” program is a recipient of a financial donation through our companywide giving program, “Making a Difference.”

    Roads of Success is a Southern California non-profit organization providing humanitarian support to women and children in the Middle East who are victims of war and persecution. The Tech Over Trauma program utilizes internet technology to empower, educate and counsel these young women.

    KTGY’s donation went towards the purchase of 20 laptops which were sent to a refugee camp in Iraq, expanding the program and allowing more women to gain the emotional and educational support they need.

    Terry told us, “We believe giving these young women access to live, electronic courses led by educators across the globe, including English courses, trauma recovery, and more, will ignite their excitement to prepare for futures of hope.”

    Terry has been participating in the efforts of Roads of Success since 2008 and currently sits on the board. Her passion for these women does not stop with the Tech Over Trauma program, in addition, she has helped lead the “container program.” Through donations, Road of Success, fills 40-foot containers with necessities and ship them to refugee camps in Iraq.
