Four similar houses were recently built across the street
Eight months after our last update, construction is nearly finished for a development of small lot homes just south of the intersection of Barrington Avenue and National Boulevard in Mar Vista.
The project, which replaced two single-family homes at 3230-3238 S. Barrington Avenue, features 10 townhome-style dwellings ranging between 1,700 and 2,200 square feet in size.
KTGY is designing the Barrington 10, which pares down in height along Barrington to match the scale of adjacent buildings. The three-story homes are described as featuring sharp lines, sloped roofs and angled walls, with an exterior of black stucco and white siding.
The homes come in a mix of three- and four-bedroom layouts, each featuring three-and-a-half bathrooms, decks or roof decks and two-car garages.
City records list the property owner as a Los Angeles-based entity managed by Yaron Levy, and its project applicant as Sapphire Development V, LLC.
The project site sits across Barrington from a four-unit small lot subdivision which was also designed by KTGY.
