Central Park Station Coming to Life

Colorado Construction & Design

June 6, 2019

Developer Brookfield Properties, formerly Forest City Stapleton, is developing the neighborhood’s newest mixed-use addition, Central Park Station. Located mid-way between DIA and Denver Union Station this transit-oriented development will continue Stapleton’s commitment to walkability. Spanning five city blocks, Central Park Station will join a mix of office, residential, a hotel, and retail. KTGY Architecture + Planning worked with Brookfield Properties, to master plan the development and provide design services for a 301-unit market rate apartment building and a 200,000 SF office building.

Combined with a highly-animated public plaza, the two buildings will be the first phase of the new development, setting the tone for things to come. The six-story apartment building is designed around a podium base, which will serve to conceal the two-story parking structure within. The building’s amenity package includes a resort-style pool, fitness center, and resident clubhouse. Balconies, private patios, and public lounge spaces add to the new urbanist dynamic.

Martines Palmeiro Construction has been selected to lead construction of the apartment building and Saunders Construction has been selected to lead construction of the office building.
