Exterior finishes are now being applied to a large mixed-use project adjacent to the Northridge Fashion Center.
The development, located on a 6.9-acre property at Nordhoff Street and Corbin Avenue, consists of two six-story buildings featuring 429 apartments and two standalone single-story structures with 21,000 square feet of commercial space. Parking for 1,000 vehicles will be located in a surface lot and structures beneath the buildings.
The contemporary podium-type development is being designed by KTGY Architecture + Planning.
The project site is approximately a half-mile east of the new headquarters of toymaker MGA Entertainment. The Bratz dolls manufacturer occupies a campus now being developed with retail space and over 600 housing units.
