KTGY Architecture + Planning welcomes Christine King as regional development director

DENVER – Christine King, FSMPS, CPSM, has joined the Denver office of KTGY Architecture + Planning as regional development director. In her new role, King is responsible for strengthening and growing client relationships in the Mountain States market and contributing to the firm’s client-focused initiatives. King is working in collaboration with Jeremy Agraz, KTGY’s national development director, and Denver office leaders: Terry Willis, AIA, LEED AP, principal, BILL Ramsey AIA, NCARB, LEED AP principal and Nathan Sciarra, AIA, NCARB, associate principal.  The Denver office of KTGY focuses on high-density residential, mixed-use architecture and for-sale residential developments.

Most recently, King served as business development manager for The Weitz Company, one of the oldest architectural, engineering and construction firms in the U.S. Prior to The Weitz Company, she served as marketing manager for Martin/Martin, Inc. and director of marketing for JE Dunn Construction Company.

King has played a leadership role within several industry associations over the years including The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, the Society for College and University Planners (SCUP), and Rocky Mountain APPA, Leadership in Educational Facilities. In recognition of her contributions to the industry, King was awarded and recognized as a Fellow in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (FSMPS). She is also a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) and currently serves on ULI’s Office Workplace and Industrial Council (COIC) in ULI’s Colorado District.

KTGY established its Denver office in 2006. Since that time, KTGY Denver area projects include a variety of building types from office to apartments, condominiums, mixed-use projects and 55+ communities.

Current notable projects of KTGY Denver include:

  • TriVista on Speer, developed by Legacy Partners and planned for opening in 2019, is a seven-story, 322-unit apartment building located a block south of the Colorado Convention Center in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood.
  • Vita Littleton, developed by Zocalo Community Development and opened in 2018, is a new, 55+ apartment community offering one- and two-bedroom senior apartments in downtown Littleton, Colorado, located just blocks from the RTD downtown Littleton light rail station.
  • Central Park Station TOD, where five city blocks of office, residential, hotel and ground-floor retail are planned to surround an iconic central plaza, in a pedestrian-centric environment.
