KTGY Architecture + Planning has promoted Jill Williams, AIA to chairwoman of the board. She will take an active role in client relationships, building quality teams, and providing overall project direction from design conception to construction.

Williams has been with the full-service construction firm for 27 years, and continues to bring her knowledge and experience of mixed-use architecture to her newest leadership role within the company. After starting with the firm in Irvine, she built the Oakland studio in 2001, and will continue serving as a managing principal there.

Williams will replace Stan Braden, AIA, NCARB as he steps down as chairman while continuing to fulfill his existing responsibilities to the firm’s studios and client relationships.

“We welcome Jill Williams to her new role. She is a passionate, experienced architect and we are looking forward to having her influence throughout the firm,” said CEO Tricia Esser. “With a very big thank you to Stan Braden for his leadership during the last 10 years, we appreciate that he will continue to work with KTGY and our clients.”
