About
David Lacey brings over 34 years of experience of project management, technical design experience and staff leadership to KTGY Architecture + Planning. David has experience in all aspects and phases of the design process including client management, design development, specifications writing, technical detailing and technical drawing development, construction administration, value engineering, cost analysis and understanding and application of code requirements.
Mr. Lacey’s experience spans over several project types including retail, commercial, office, hospitality, residential, higher education, industrial, institutional and military as well as several retail/residential mixed-use projects. This depth of experience in project and construction types allows David to bring a large repertoire of experience in solving technical design problems including 20 years of QA/QC constructability review experience. In addition, this experience has given David the unique ability to express 3-dimensional architectural designs in buildable 2-dimensional terms.
Mr. Lacey is a member of the AIA and Construction specifications Institute and is a Certified Construction Specifier and Certified Construction Contract Administrator.
