About
Sean Martino is an Associate Principal in KTGY’s Los Angeles office leading the technical design team from concept design through schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction.
With 25 years of experience, Mr. Martino believes that architecture, buildings, the user’s experience, and the documentation of design is all in the details. Since joining KTGY in 2016, he has focused on the documentation of design, details, and construction innovation such as modular construction, sustainable design and materials, and Mass Timber. Mr. Martino is involved with the sustainability committee and worked with the R+D team on the Timber Tower concept (multifamily mass timber high-rise). He is currently overseeing the design and construction of a Mass Timber building with exposed CLT and glulam posts and beams.
Prior to joining KTGY in 2016, Mr. Martino worked on a variety of projects that include hospitality, commercial buildings, retail, restaurants, religious buildings, and schools. He played multiple roles in those projects including design, management, entitlements, building permits, construction administration, assembling project teams, project schedules, maintaining budgets, and client relationships.
