    The Daxton Hotel, a luxury hotel designed to provoke the senses, delivers an elevated experience and engages guests through each thoughtfully crafted detail. KTGY’s designers set an elegant canvas — wide, open-concept spaces with tall ceilings and neutral but lightly-textured walls — to highlight the unique combination of lighting, artwork, and focal design features seen within each room. Various lighting designs — including scattered recessed lighting resembling starlit nights, illuminated art installations that guests can immerse themselves in and soft-glow backlighting enhancing the finer details throughout — set an intimate mood, while rich jewel tones like deep marigold and sultry plum create themes within each space. The coolness of richly veined, quartzite countertops, fireplace hearths composed of hand-selected stone slabs, and custom, mosaic tile flooring is well-balanced with the warmth of lacquered millwork, mohair accents, and designer rugs embellished with detailed images of persimmons and serpents. Bold, conversation-starting art pieces complement the atmosphere of each space, providing guests the opportunity to connect through thought-provoking discussion.
