Alan Scales is a principal at KTGY and brings over 20 years of experience in urban infill, residential design and construction. With a focus and passion for design, he is responsible for overall project direction from initial planning and design to project team coordination, and client and City communications. With special attention to each client’s goals, budget and schedule, Alan’s collaborative approach to design places emphasis on context and innovation.

Alan’s experience has concentrated in California, Arizona and Texas as Principal in charge of multifamily and single family residential, and mixed-use projects. From project planning through to completion, Alan brings tremendous knowledge in site planning, entitlements, project coordination, design development, building department approvals, and construction administration. He has been responsible for over hundreds of Small Lot Subdivision Homes in the City of Los Angeles offering unique solutions to challenging sites.
