Chris Texter retains a portfolio of notable clients and award-wining projects spanning community types including infill, single family, multifamily build-to-rent and 55+ communities. As a longtime firm leader, Chris is responsible for connecting the right ideas with the best resources. His duties include developing strong partnerships with clients, selecting project teams and leading them through design, entitlement, project coordination, approvals and construction. In addition to his work as board member and managing principal, Chris takes pleasure in the details of project development. Code compliance, team coordination, official meetings, construction and architectural details are as much of a satisfying puzzle to him now as ever.

With more than 30 years of experience, Chris has acquired a wealth of design knowledge and technical expertise, largely focused on residential communities, where he leads architectural teams in creating innovative developments that respond to the diverse ways people want to live. His team members include industry thought leaders developing and realizing new possibilities for the human environment. Along with new development, Chris’s practice includes pioneering work on small lot, infill, build-to-rent, new developments, entitlements, and master planned communities.
