Will Bate is Chief Executive Officer of KTGY, an award-winning design firm of architects, designers, and planners. He joined the firm in April of 2026 and brings a track record proven by leading growth, transformation and value creation across the real estate industry. Prior to joining KTGY, he was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he led the North America Real Estate and Cities practice, driving strategy and commercial performance for one of the firm’s fastest-growing sectors.
In his previous role, Will advised leading real estate and services organizations on strategy, operations, M&A, and digital transformation. At KTGY, Will is focused on shaping the next phase of growth, building on the firm’s strong foundation to deepen client relationships, expand capabilities and evolve how the firm delivers value in an increasingly dynamic market.
He is known for pairing bold strategic vision with practical execution, with a leadership style grounded in collaboration and a strong belief that investing in people and the next generation of leaders is the key to sustained performance. With Will’s insight and direction, KTGY is poised to continue to grow as a destination firm, where designers around the country can realize the vision of a world alive with design possibilities that make thriving environments.
Will began his career in investment management at Guggenheim Partners, holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from the University of Virginia. He is based in Washington, D.C.
