A new level of luxury living in the tallest all-rental building in Chicago, NEMA Chicago appeals to the business professionals and their families seeking an elevated experience, focused on wellness and lifestyle-enhancing comforts. Seeing a gap in the market the client approached KTGY’s interior design team to bring forward a unit that could exemplify the lifestyle of the “ideal resident”. With a goal of elevating apartment living in the city, the designers brought forward a model unit that integrated warmth and sophistication.
The 1,715 square foot apartment features three bedrooms and ample outdoor space, the ideal canvas to create an elevated, bohemian chic apartment. Designing for the artist and musician who now have corporate jobs and a deep love of travel the shelves are adorned with eclectic yet curated objects. The entryway is lined with contemporary art pieces – their rich blues and soft grays echo throughout the home and are accented by warm wood. The footprint is made to feel more expansive by the selection of slim lined furniture with accent pieces made of glass or wire to hold less visual weight. Approachable high end materials such as draperies and wall coverings further elevate the space and highlight the eclectic sophistication of the design.
