Quarterpath at Tutter’s Pond is a curated collection of villa townhomes designed for young families looking to start out in Williamsburg, Virginia and for older residents looking to downsize comfortably. Flexible floor plans and ground floor primary bedrooms make these homes adaptable for different buyers in various stages of life. Rooftop terraces, a less common feature in this area, add valuable appeal to each home and increase usable space on small lots.
Williamsburg is a town steeped in history, and the design of Quarterpath at Tutter’s Pond is a fresh take on colonial aesthetics. Brick and shiplap siding feature in each design, aligning with local design guidelines, but modern window mullions and vertical siding update this style. Adaptation to site conditions produced three distinct footprints across four homes, with variations between having basements, slab on grade, side entry, front entry and a rear load garage. Our designers had to adapt each footprint to comply with site conditions and brick water table requirements. This contextual approach reflects the designers’ commitment to artful, quality home design that blends with the built, natural and historical environment.
