San Jacinto Main Street revitalizes and enhances the outdated downtown San Jacinto while bringing life, energy, and function to the area. KTGY’s design provides pedestrian connectivity, shade, gathering spaces, seating, additional landscaping, public art and flexibility to the Main Street. With the two-block area, the new KTGY-designed archway signs serve as gateway monuments for both ends of the downtown Main Street district.
KTGY also redesigned the street configuration to slow traffic and incorporated public art, including crosswalks designed by local kids and a local sidewalk chalk-art competition. While its everyday function serves as a traditional Main Street, the street can be closed for special events such as festivals, farmers’ markets, car shows and holiday events to attract visitors and engage with the community.
