This conceptual design for a beachfront resort was intended for the first high-end property of its kind in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. The luxury resort combines a boutique hotel and exclusive amenities with residential towers for timeshare owners and investors. KTGY’s interior designers envisioned an openair luxury experience that carries avant-garde style through every space. Taking advantage of the building’s stepped architecture, the concept creates unique moments on each level.
Through the shadow of the hotel towers, guests arrive in a courtyard overlooking the sea and the property. Each descending level has a mix of more social and more private amenities; the spa level has a beautiful open-air native flower garden, and private treatment rooms built into the temple-like interior. Meeting rooms and ballrooms open to either the ocean or a well-appointed courtyard, allowing a range of access and privacy. The lower level has a large pool deck with space for bars and DJs as well as quieter, more intimate pools for lounging and relaxing. The guest rooms are designed with separate living and sleeping areas, perfect for entertaining or enjoying a private moment.
