Rising from the intersection of two bustling streets in Dallas, Texas, and adjacent to the area’s iconic Katy Trail, the Brady provides residents with luxury living, iconic views, and access to nature. This site posed serval opportunities for our designers to innovate. By establishing a below grade parking structure and a V-shaped building that steps down to the street, designers were able to take advantage of the natural amenity and create a breezeway that leads from the trail to the lobby. This exclusive connectivity makes The Brady standout in the market.
The facade is clad in three shades of brick and stone detailing which catches the sun and creates shadows adding dimension and movement. With the building’s proximity to the nature trail, designers wanted to ensure all utility elements were well hidden. They utilized frosted glass at the ground level and screening elements for condenser units, which left the views for residents on the upper floors unencumbered, elevating the living experience and enhancing the curb appeal of the building. KTGY’s designers took a complicated site and transformed it into a sanctuary for residents to unwind, explore and indulge in skyline views and exclusive trail access.
