ARTIC is envisioned to be a world-class transportation gateway and urban centerpiece to Anaheim’s Platinum Triangle. The 16-acre site will provide a synergistic and integrated mix of land uses, a safe and inviting pedestrian experience, beautiful and lively activity center and strong connectivity to existing entertainment and sports venues (i.e., Honda Center, Angel Stadium of Anaheim). Future surrounding land uses may include retail, entertainment, office, civic, hospitality, and residential uses. At full Build-out, ARTIC will accommodate California High-Speed Rail, California/Nevada Super Speed Train, Metrolink and Amtrak trains, and various modes of ground transportation. In addition, a proposed streetcar system will support tourism by connecting ARTIC to the surrounding Platinum Triangle and other visitor destinations within the City including the Anaheim Convention Center and the Disneyland Hotels & Resorts. KTGY assisted the City of Anaheim and OCTA in creating the vision, preparing the long range masterplan, selecting an appropriate architectural/ engineering firm, project manager, public artist, and providing third party design reviews. Now operational, this award-winning LEED Platinum building, designed by HOK, serves as a major transit hub and a signature landmark for the City. ARTIC is anticipated to be implemented in multiple phases over the next 20 years.
