The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa

The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa is an upscale retreat located on Hutchinson Island, facing the Savannah River and adjacent to the conference center. KTGY’s interior design studio updated the resort’s public areas and function space while staying true to its distinctly Georgian charm and style. The interior design scope provided renovations for the lobby and lobby bar, reception, ballroom, meeting rooms and pool deck. Equally inspired by Georgian architecture, lush overgrown gardens and the city of
Savannah, the new interior design highlights the river views and captures the senses of each guest.

As guests walk through the front door, they are greeted by an expansive lobby window overlooking the river. The improved floor plan opens the space, and dark curtains frame the impressive view. As the guests move to check-in, they encounter a sculptural wall inspired by magnolia blooms and custom designed reception desk. As the eye begins to wander, it inevitably settles on the updated lobby bar where ocher upholstery, dark wood paneling and bright pops of brass create a modern, but rural environment. Finally, the pool deck evokes a sophisticated resort atmosphere that is still distinctly American, with striped beach umbrellas and tiered patio.
